Salcon International has been working with Sunway since November 2020 to expand sales in Europe. Sunway is already firmly established as a leading supplier of wireless charging components and modules for the consumer electronics markets, and particularly the sizeable smartphone market. Numerous of today’s smartphones are equipped with the products. The strong position in the biggest consumer electronics segment has enabled Sunway to further develop into other applications as well.
For a long time, Sunway offers an array of products to cater to the growing need for products that can charge the currently ubiquitous consumer products like smartphones, TWS earphones, IoT devices, etc. Thanks to Sunway’s wide industry coverage, our components and modules for the entire value chain are found in numerous applications already.
Recently, Sunway Communication also added Qi-enabled wireless chargers for vehicle in-cabin use to its expanding portfolio. The in-cabin charger can already be found in numerous vehicle models sold globally. The future development is focused on higher power transfer and improved user convenience. Sunway is particularly well equipped to service a broad range of markets and applications owing to its design capabilities as well as its vertically integrated high-volume manufacturing – from magnetic materials to module assembly. Being a member of the Wireless Power Consortium, the collaborative standards development organization widely known for the Qi standard ensures that they are at the front line of technology development and standardization.
Sunway Communication predicts that the global market for wirelessly chargeable devices will grow by an annual rate of more than 20% over the next three years and is excited to be a part of bringing freedom of use to an increasingly large and diversified customer base.
