Industry representatives meet at IVAM forum in Tokyo to discuss the challenges for future energy efficiency

Like the years before, IVAM Microtechnology Network is organizing the Japanese-German Micro / Nano Business Forum within the “Micromachine/MEMS” in Tokyo, one of the most important exhibitions in the field of micro and nanotechnology in Japan.

At the seminar on July 14, speakers like Prof. Esashi of Tohoku University and Prof. Gessner of the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS will provide an extensive overview of the current research activities in micro and nanosystems technology this year. Additionally, speakers from Nitta Moore Company / Bartels Mikrotechnik, Omron Corporation and IVAM Microtechnology Network will present the newest developments regarding energy-efficient processes. In the last year, over 300 Japanese business representatives attended the Micro/Nano Business Forum.

The forum is organized by IVAM, with support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia as well as the Micromachine Center (MMC) in Tokyo. The MMC is a Japanese non-profit organization who supports micro- and nano-related industry development. Following companies are associated as examples: Panasonic, Sony, Omron, Canon, Denso, Fuji and many more.
