The IVAM Product Market at MicroTechnology within HANNOVER MESSE is fully booked. With 73 participants, the number exceeds the previous year’s record of 60 exhibitors noticeably. From April 21 to 25, new trends for industrial applications will be shown at the 1,000 square meter large joint pavilion of IVAM Microtechnology Network. In this respect, the special fair MicroTechnology once again proves as one of the largest market places for micro and nanotechnology.

As part of the Product Market, for the first time the special show “Laser for micromachining and microproduction“ with ROFIN, LUMERA LASER, LIMO, LZH and many other exhibitors presents innovative methods for highly precise production. Japan, partner country of this year’s fair, will also be represented at the IVAM booth with the Micromachine Center, which stands for companies like Olympus, Omron, Panasonic and Mitsubishi Electric. At the forum “Innovations for Industry“, 60 experts will give practical insights in micro and nanotechnology applications. Topics are, amongst others, lasertechnology for photovoltaics, quality analysis of drinking water by capillary electrophoresis, and challenges arising with carbon nanotubes.

“MicroTechnology is the leading event for applied micro and nanotechnologies. We will show advanced materials with unique properties, speak about smart systems integration and the modern production of systems and components which combine a lot of functions on the smallest possible space”, explains IVAM Managing Director Dr. Uwe Kleinkes.
