In the BMWi-funded network project ToGeTher, small and medium-sized companies have joined forces to develop marketable medical technology products in trustful cooperation. ToGeTher connects SMEs with research organizations and with health care providers. The network is constantly being expanded in order to be able to carry out projects comprehensively and competently.
Applications in the area of point-of-care diagnostics, smart textiles and intelligent wound dressings are being developed. In particular, new technologies are to be used as they are made available, for example, by TOLAE. TOLAE (Thin, Organic and Large Area Electronics) comprises electronic solutions that enable flexible or even stretchable applications and can be manufactured in a cost-effective manner, for example in a roll-to-roll process.
