IVAM Microtechnology Network
The established expert forum "LaserForum", initiated by the IVAM Microtechnology Network, will take place after a two-year break due to the pandemic under the title ""New Wavelengths in Laser Technology: Blue or not Blue - That is the Question" " on September 21, 2022 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT) in Aachen.
The event series regularly deals with selected questions, problems and trends in laser technology along the entire value chain. The forum provides a platform for discussion and exchange of ideas among industry leaders. This year, on the one hand, the production and application of new wavelengths in laser technology will be addressed, but also the latest developments in laser systems will be presented.
Presentations will cover topics including UV lasers, blue high-power diode lasers, excimer lasers and green ultrashort pulse lasers. During the event, there will be an opportunity to visit laser production at the Fraunhofer ILT. Partners of the event are the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. and the Chair of Laser Application Technology (LAT) at the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB).
