Founded in 1988, CeramOptec is today one of the leading international developers and manufacturers of multimode step-index optical fibers. The subsidiary of the medical technology specialist biolitec primarily produces optical fibers, fiber cables and fiber bundles in Livani/Latvia. Since CeramOptec has the whole production chain - from the preform to the fiber drawing and assembly process - in-house, the possibilities for customization are maximized. In addition to the business with industrial applications such as laser beam delivery, semiconductor technology, sensor technology, lighting and spectroscopy, solutions for medicine, research and aerospace are also offered.
