Event on the subject "Microsystems for extreme environments "
June 13, 2013, in Berlin at Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration

The environments for microelectronics applications are becoming increasingly rougher. In that context, biocompatibility, applications outside electronics such as textiles, but above all, high temperatures are frame conditions where conventional electronics quickly reach its limits. Most of the ICs are suitable for use with temperatures up to 125°C. Nevertheless, sensors are needed and applied for condition monitoring and open-loop control in industrial processes also with significantly higher temperatures. Which types of integrated circuit packing and which materials are stable with the corresponding operating conditions. How can materials and thermal characterization help with the selection of the right technology? Which technologies lead to flexible electronic components with a high life span? Whether high power LEDs, automotive-, industrial and power electronics or bio medical engineering – in every user industry, developers benefit from modern integration technologies.

The continuation of the successful series of events ΣYSTEMS INTEGRATION will take place in Berlin on June 13, 2013 in cooperation with Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration. The established symposium will, again, offer current and technically first-class expert presentations in the field of micro systems technology. This year’s event is focused on micro systems for extreme environments.

Do not miss the opportunity to engage in an exchange with developers, manufacturers and users.

The event will be organized by the IVAM Microtechnology Network in cooperation with Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the event.
