NAWATechnologies is a recently formed company spin-off from the CEA in mid-2013. The company specialises in the fabrication and implementation of structured nanomaterials for applications in the fields of energy, transport and environment.

NAWATechnologies has three main activities:
· The development, production and distribution of ultra-rapid carbon batteries for future smart grids, urban transport electrification (bus, tram, ferry) and for niche applications in extreme environments.
· The development of a thermal interface material capable of improved heat dissipation for power electronics components.
· An R&D activity to aid its customers to develop new nanomaterial-based products.
