Physik Instrumente (PI) is a leading provider of motion and positioning systems as well as piezoceramic actuators and sensor components. In microscopy, the PILine XY-positioning stages with piezo linear drives form the basis of the offer, added by ultra-fine positioning tables with resolutions in the nn range as well as suitable sample holders. For medical technology, the subsidiary PI Ceramic develops components for applications such as surgical power ultrasound, vaporizers and implantable subassemblies.
