Printed Diagnostics and 3D Printing: Recording of the live stream of the virtual COMPAMED

Individual patient care is becoming increasingly important. On the one hand, this saves valuable resources, for example in terms of medication and diagnostic tools, and on the other hand helps to provide targeted medical treatment for patients' ailments.

New and innovative production processes are always needed for this, such as 3D printing, in order to be able to manufacture computer-controlled tools - like for example implants - that are precisely adapted to a specific patient. Printed diagnostics also offers a cost-effective and fast method of producing disposable diagnostic tools that can be used for cost-effective mass testing.

At the virtual COMPAMED, a whole session was dedicated to this topic. The recording is still available on YouTube.
