The second W3+ Fair Rhine Valley will take place on 23 + 24 September 2020 in Dornbirn, Austria - the innovative network fair for optics, microtechnology and precision engineering.
The innovative cross-industry concept: Experts from future industries gather at top technology locations in Europe - with direct access to market leaders, hidden champions and concentrated competence. This is where cross-industry contacts, projects and partnerships for central user areas such as medical technology, life science, automotive, aerospace, tools and machinery or consumer electronics are created.
The N-Tec Talks are the new, accompanying high-tech congress of the W3+ Fair. Top topic in the Rhine Valley: "The day after Corona - prospects, opportunities and measures for the high-tech industry after the crisis". First-class speakers present their concepts for a new beginning. Participants benefit from current know-how and best practice examples on the three topics "Product Technology", "Procurement and Production" and "Management". Interested parties can register at speaker@n-tec.com.
The high-tech Rhine Valley with its cross-border catchment area of Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein is one of the top ten of Europe's 1,200 technology locations. With its focus on applied research and development, the region offers optimal conditions for the creation of technology-driven innovations. The venue for the event is the Dornbirn exhibition centre in Austria - a traditional marketplace in the Vorarlberg region with a modern appearance.
The first W3+ Fair Rhine Valley took place in late summer 2019. More than 100 national and international exhibitors and partners from the high-tech sectors as well as 1078 visitors met for two days to exchange ideas and network. Key players from the region such as Swissoptic, Optics Balzers, Leica Geosystems and WZW Optic AG were represented. Also numerous small and medium-sized companies presented themselves.
As a long-standing partner, IVAM will again present itself with the topic "Microtechnologies for Optical Devices" at the trade fair and at the new N-Tec Talks. In this way we will show what microtechnology has to offer for the field of optics and photonics.
